Rain barrel

I love it when an experiment works. A tarp attached to my cabin has almost half way filled my 55 gallon barrel. It only rained for maybe 7 hours. It's not even raining that hard. I know if I actually used gutters it would be better. But gutters cost money and I already had the tarp. I have (4) 15 gallon barrels to fill next. I also have my former beer tub aka bath tub to fill up too. Going to hang more tarps around the cabin.

Oh yeah my rain collector is installed. Hope it works.. I have 110 gallons to fill up to test in the next storm. Suppose yo rain tonight tomorrow and all day Thursday...

FREE FRIDGE

Scored a 2nd small fridge today. I asked owners of the driveway where it was at the end of. They said they were throwing it put. I asked if it works. They said it wasn't keeping stuff cold.
I looked inside after I got home. I cleaned the fan. The compressor the fan vents. It had a thermometer inside. So we shall know in a few hours if it works. If not I have a new thermometer.
