Solar heater project

Got a thermometer today. Didn't have time to get to flea market to get a
12v drill to take apart and make the wind turbine with it along with a
bicycle wheel.

New Adopt a Goat Program

Support our Goat Program:
Adopt a Goat

Monkey Bone Ranch's goats are of the alpine breed, capable of producing almost a gallon of milk each day for Montello area poor children & their families. When you "adopt" a milk goat, you are taking a concrete, solid step to turn the tide away from human suffering from malnutrition and illnesses stemming from a lack of nutrition and instead provide the conditions for healthy, productive, fulfilling lives for those in need.

What does adopting a goat entail? By adopting a goat, you help provide for its food, its annual shots, wormings, hoof trimmings, vitamin supplements, and any additional health care necessary for its optimum health, well-being, and productivity. You do not actually own the goat; ownership stays with Monkey Bone Ranch; rather your adoption helps cover the cost of caring for the goat so that it can do its best to feed hungry people: Besides the milk the females produce, all the goats -males & females- boost vegetable & fruit production by adding fertility to the soil and by eradicating noxious weeds.

You have no work responsibilities for the goat, but you are welcome to come visit your goat whenever the farm is open. Goats are extremely affectionate and love receiving handfuls of grain from their adopting human parents! You just need to schedule a time with our herdsman by emailing.

By the way, Goat Adoptions make terrific gifts!!:
If you adopt a goat in honor of another person, we will send via Email a gift card in your name to the person you specify with your personalized message (if you designate one), and attach to that email the goat adoption certificate, the biographical data on the specific goat adopted, and a color photograph of the adopted goat.

General Information about goats: Goats have very distinctive personalities; they all have a great sense of humor, and are extremely smart. They are Houdini-like escape artists that learn how to untie knots & unlock locks to get out of wherever they are, just for the heck of it! Goats can live twice as long as dogs, and make just as loyal a companion.

Truck update

May have got too big a truck, takes up my whole driveway....might not be
that big of truck when you compare I have been driving a small japanese
car for the last 3 years.. but the bigger the truck, the better for the
high desert roads. More goats and other supplies I can haul at one time.
My gas budget to get to montello however has gone up to $405 on todays
gas prices.. My driveway in montello will be huge so this truck won't
take up the whole drive way..

Yes yes finally a truck

Got a 1995 FORD F150. Its white, dual fuel tanks, 128000 miles. Has a
bed liner, tinted windows, cold AC. Pictures to come when I get home.

Tubes for project heater

Well I had a picture of the tubes and just deleted it instead of
attaching it to the post... they looked like blueprint tubes but were
clear with black end caps. They were $1 a piece at the yard sale. Bought
2 since that's all they had. Figure they should do the same job as a
stack of empty cans, but it will be easy since they are in one piece.
Just need to paint them black. I may try to see if I can bleach water
with them first to purify the water. If so may not use them for the
heater project.

Rev Mike Solar Heater

His heater is very promising. I plan to make one myself, but with out cans. Just make a maze like I saw on a website. Once I am done making it, I will take pictures and upload it.
If his results are as good as they seem, my question is why are they not attached to every single house that needs heat and has sunlight beaming down at it.!!!!
